Who is NCFCU?

The credit union was founded in 1936 as Joliet Wireco Credit Union. Over the years, we have developed and have merged with other credit unions to unite as one strong credit union. As of today, New Century FCU has grown to be a credit union providing services to over 4,500 members and totaling assets of more than $50 million dollars. Our mission statement is “to be a primary financial institution dedicated to providing the highest quality service at the lowest possible cost in order to meet the changing needs of our members.”

New Century FCU is a not-for-profit financial organization that provides savings, checking, loans, and other financial services to its members. Our members that belong to the credit union elect a Board of Directors who have the overall responsibility for the credit union’s direction, safety and soundness.
